Marche de Dinant Winter expands: two days of walking fun
On 11 and 12 December 2026, Dinant will once again be the setting for the Marche de Dinant Winter. For the sixth edition, the concept is being thoroughly expanded. What started as a wintry night walk is growing this year into a full walking weekend with walks during the day and in the dark, with a separate program for runners
On Friday and Saturday
The biggest change is immediately clear: for the first time, the Marche de Dinant winter is being organized over two days.
The night trails remain an important part of the event. Walking through the dark Ardennes nature, with only a headlamp to illuminate the course, remains one of the typical ingredients of the winter edition.
On Saturday, participants can discover Dinant and climb the citadel during the day!
Runners also get their own event
The expansion is not limited to walkers. For the first time, runners will also get their own program, with a trail on Saturday evening and Sunday daytime.
Walkers AND runners can discover the same wintry environment around Dinant, but within their own event organized specifically for them.
